Post 9: Parque Quinta Normal

Hey guys!

Today I’ll talk about a park which I like so much, because it's beautiful and a good weekend plan.

Of course, I am talking about Parque Quinta Normal it’s a traditional park of Chilean culture which is located in Center of Santiago de Chile and it’s a meeting center for people of this city. This Park was of founded in 1841 in Manuel Bulnes’s government, being first Park in our country. In those days, Parque Quinta Normal was used to Agricultural activities for Barrio Yungay’s people, also was joined Licores Quinta Normal’s production in 1849.

Today, inside this park it’s found very attractions like Museo de Historia Natural (Museum of Natural History), Museo de Trenes (Train Museum), Museo de Arte Contemporáneo (Contemporary Art Museum), Invernadero de la Quinta Normal, water games, a little lake with water activities, many gardens and walking trails in woods, and (for me) most important thing: MANY food, especially completos (similar hot-dogs) outside of subway Quinta Normal.

In summary, Parque Quinta Normal is a very great place to de-stress, distract with friends and share with our family (and eat, very important).

Post 10: "Final Post"

Hi guys!

Here we are, semester end and our mental sanity too, and as this subject it’s end too, I want give my about my experience with this blog's methodology.

When I create my account in this platform, I didn’t know something about how to use or how to unit my friend’s o classmates, but along the time, I was taking rate this social net.

 I think this was a really good tool to loosen up the redacting part in English, this served for me and to learn new words in English, besides it’s so funny read posts of my classmate and their experiences. I don't know what add to this methodology, I think it’s very effective, but could be better if this it is implemented for talk part with more oral presentations about different themes all weeks (Foresters already went through that… cofcofRIFcofcof).

Other thing I would like write is: I will miss this blog, I took affection :c it’s cute :c♥ but live is just like that.

Well, that’s all, I hope you have a good semester end, FORCE in all exams and we can achieve it!

I will miss you, guys but I will continue see you, I promise.

Post 8 "My Favorite Topic"

Hi guys!

In this opportunity I will talk you about “Servicios de los Bosques”, a topic of a subject “Productos y Servicios de los Bosques”. This topic I really liked in this semester, and was that motivation what I needed in difficult time (vocational crisis).

When I was in Liceo (or high school), I was in Humanist elective, and I really liked that’s all, history, literature, economy, etc. But, I chose Forestry because I like so hard nature and wood, so… I’m here.

This year (start year), I had a vocational crisis for this, but between May and June start topic “Servicios de los bosques” (or wood services), where I achieved understand the relation between human welfare, ecosystems and services that can provide for human being. All this roused my humanist side and I started read about that theme. Finally, I proposed work in there, where two things that I like very much it unite.

Post 7: "A person that I admire"

Hi guys!

Today I will talk you about person that I admire from mi field. I admire many persons in my career and my field, but one of them is a little bit of more admire from me.

This person is teacher of faculty, I talking about Claudia Cerda (in picture). She is Forestry, but with PhD in Agricultural Sciences with a Specialization in Economics in Natural Resources. Actually she works in Ministerio del Medio Ambiente (MMB), CONAF (sometimes), and Department of Forest Management and Environment of Universidad de Chile doing class and different projects focus on society and how  it’s related whit environment and ecosystems.

I admire her, because I like her field: social area, relation and interaction between social field (human welfare) and environment, our ecosystems. I would like (I hope in a future not very far) work and carry out job in her area.

Post 5: "A Old Pic"

Hey guys! Today I feel melancholic because I saw my old photography’s what I have in my facebook, and I found one what represent my life in general. I am talking about the history behind this pic:

I taken this photo in humanist elective when I was in my last year of school and PSU was the only thing important. I was happy and melancholic in that moment because I was going to see my schoolmate (I loved them much) but also I was going to know a new world totally different, the University.

My last year in school was very stressful with pressure of PSU and NEM –but cannot be compared with university-, but that year was one of better years of my life also. I did a lot things what I never have, I met lot people –and one of that people is my boyfriend now-, I ate so much and had fun too.

Post 4: "Día del Patrimonio"

Hi guys! Today I’m very patrimonial, and that’ why I will write about “Día Del Patrimonio Cultural”.

The Cultural Heritage day or “Día Del Patrimonio Cultural” in Chile it’s an annual activity of which purpose is allow for generic public knows the enjoy the cultural, historical and national architectural heritage.

I really like this day, and it’s one most important for me, because I enjoy with the history in all areas of it; go out one day, all day, with my boyfriend (and adventure partner)  knowing different places of this city, places that ever is closed, that is something what I really (really) love.

I like very much nature and my career, but other part of me is very happy knowing history, heritage places, heritage builds of Santiago and the rest of Chile too (one perk of have a boyfriend who is history student).

Post 3: "My favorite Piece of Technology"

Hi Everyone!

 Today I talk you about my favorite piece of technology, that is the mobile.

Mobile are one piece of technology more important in my life, I use every day, in every moment, even in class (sometimes). Mobile allow for biggest communication between people that are for away (of distance), also that still be good for have fun and simplify live of persons who have it when search information in internet, listen to music, watch videos on YouTube or others web sites, find persons of the infancy on Facebook, news at the moment in twitter, look pictures of family, friends and comrade of university on Instagram.

This technology device is good but with moderation -like every-, without having to consuming us and keeping the family nucleus.
